INTERIOR SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Our Client is a prestigious super luxury yacht interior fit-out company based in UAE with projects across Europe, Middle East and Americas.

They are currently looking for a SENIOR ESTIMATOR to join their team

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in joinery and furniture estimation and quantity take-off from drawings through a team of Estimators and Quantity Surveyors
• Should be able to handle large prestigious projects
• Candidate should be familiar with all aspects of interior fit-outs, joinery and furniture, upholstery, painting, etc.
• Candidate should be able to interpret specifications, price tenders and prepare contract documents
• Be able to interpret and check drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates
• Fully conversant on preparation of spreadsheets. Knowledge of Timberline software would be an advantage
• Should have knowledge of site execution and methods
• Be able to supervise surveys and interpret third party survey
• Should have good knowledge of contractual English communication
• Strong in tender stage and post contract documentation
• Able to verify sub-contractor's claims and certify payment certificate based on sub-contract agreements issued by the Quantity Surveyor
• Verification of Quantity Surveyor's calculations progress of work at site and material on-site/off-site for raising interim progressive billing to the client
• Knowledge of FIDIC for the purpose of documentation and discrepancy for various contractual claims
• Knowledge of Primavera program would be an advantage
• Management and supervision of Tender/Quantity Surveyor Department
• Debrief at critical phases or benchmarks, distribute and implement improvements in future desings or continuing phases
• Consistently keep abreast of market trends and construction methods
• Improve and create on processes
• Plan and program the tender department workload reporting directly to the General Manager
• Ensure the supplier/subcontractor database is maintained up-to-date at all times and consistently seek new companies to prequalify for inclusion on our tender list
• Input feedback relating to Company policy & procedure to continuously seek excellence by improving, refining & modifying procedures
